Full Bio
In her current role at a leading East-coast biotech firm, she is a manager of sales training, responsible for creating and delivering new product and sales skills training programs for all incoming nationwide employees.  Prior to this role, she worked as a sales executive and was awarded her company's prestigious CEO Club award in 2006 for being in the top 5% in the country out of a sales force of 500.

In 2004, she was appointed as a product specialist on the sales team and served as the district liaison to marketing, responsible for feedback to marketing regarding key message components and educational program ideas. That same year, Christi was appointed Field Faculty by the sales training department and executive management to facilitate the delivery of new product training and to explain sales objectives and marketing strategies to the sales force.

In a separate role on a communication and team liaison task force, she was responsible for problem identification and solution implementation associated with a product rollout, and also assisted with strengthening message implementation in the field.  She also regularly developed and implemented educational programs including numerous speaker programs with renowned medical professionals and regional and local thought leaders.  In addition, she was responsible for the overall management of a product line in regard to field implementation, marketing strategy, and distribution among multi-layered sales channels in her district.

Prior to her current biotech firm, Christi worked at Eli Lilly where she gained extensive experience in sales, grass-roots marketing efforts, and brand messaging.  In her first role at Eli Lilly, she served on a specialty sales force and launched 4 successful pharmaceutical product lines in her district.  She influenced thought leaders and hospital staffs to increase drug-state awareness, which increased sales penetration, and successfully implemented institutional sales into several hard-to-reach, top-tier hospitals.

Also at Eli Lilly, she served as an official product champion for a nationwide drug, disseminating product knowledge to other sales representatives, and was also selected by the brand team to pilot the delivery of the product messages to the entire U.S. sales force.  Her success as a sales representative was rewarded by her being selected to mentor and train a “Rookie of the Year” in business practices and sales strategies.  Before leaving Eli Lilly, she launched a major new product into the primary care office, segmented the customer base and determined targeted frequency goals to increase sales results, developed and shared best practices in customer relationship management, and served as training champion for sales reps and as a program champion for event planning.

During her internship at Bristoll-Myers Squibb, she analyzed a direct-to-consumer ad campaign and conducted market research to assess profitability.  At The American Red Cross, she engaged in the development of a “Special Gifts Program” fundraising effort.  And as an intern in the Office of the Majority Whip at the U.S. Capitol, she drafted correspondence and supported staff at the Republican National Convention in 1996.

She and her husband, Matt, enjoy boating, deep-sea fishing, gourmet cooking, and spending quality time with their golden Lab, Hudson.  They are expecting their first child in October of 2007.

Christi earned her business administration degree in marketing from the University of Maryland.
